Climate Ambition Accelerator 2025: Elementum Energy signs the Declaration on Climate Responsibility
On May 6, 2025, the official launch of the fourth cohort of the Climate Ambition Accelerator took place — a certified program of the UN Global Compact in Ukraine that helps businesses set science-based climate targets and move towards net-zero emissions. As part of this training initiative, Elementum Energy signed the Declaration on Climate Responsibility.
“This is our second consecutive year participating in the program, and we continue to deepen our expertise in climate responsibility. It is a natural continuation of our approach: integrating ESG principles into daily decisions while working towards Ukraine’s ‘green’ transition to low-carbon energy sources. We are convinced that responsible business is not just a declaration of intent, but systematic action. Today, Ukrainian business not only has the opportunity but also the duty to be part of the change,” Elementum Energy stated.
The Climate Ambition Accelerator is open to companies of all sizes and from all sectors that strive to meet climate requirements and remain competitive in the new economy.
Throughout the program, participants not only learn to assess emissions from their activities and set science-based targets to reduce them, but also develop concrete projects to implement climate solutions.
The Declaration signed by Elementum Energy outlines key principles in climate policy and serves as a public testament to the business community’s readiness to be part of the transformation:
- recognize climate change as a key factor in the business environment and make decisions based on verified data;
- share experience, solution cases, and expertise to advance collective knowledge on responsible business practices;
- reduce greenhouse gas emissions and transform supply chains;
- consider climate and environmental factors in strategic planning and operational activities.
By joining this initiative, Elementum Energy reaffirms its commitment to actively participate in the global fight against climate change.
