Elementum Energy Becomes a Partner of the Power Women 2026 Educational Program

This year, Elementum Energy became a partner of Power Women — a two-month educational program for women who want to start a career in renewable energy. Applications are open until May 8.

Power Women is a free educational initiative combining theoretical training, practical assignments, and hands-on exposure to the operation and maintenance of solar power plants. The program was launched in 2025 by Scatec in partnership with FMO, IFC, Swedfund, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, and the EdTech company EdEra.

For Elementum Energy, human capital development is an important part of the company’s and the sector’s sustainable growth.

“The energy sector of the future needs professionals with diverse experience and perspectives — this strengthens the quality of decision-making within teams. That is why investing in human capital and supporting educational initiatives is so important. Power Women opens access to the industry for women while also helping shape a new generation of professionals that the energy sector already needs today,”said Olga Rybachuk, Managing Director at Elementum Energy.

The Power Women program lasts approximately two months and includes an online course, work with industry experts, offline activities including a visit to a solar power plant, leadership sessions, and career consultations. Participation is free of charge.

Applications are open until May 8, 2026. The expected program start date is July 24, 2026.

“The Power Women project was created to open new opportunities for women in energy and help them start a career in the solar energy sector. The program provides free access to comprehensive training that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills and does not require previous experience — motivation to grow is enough. The curriculum covers the fundamentals of energy and solar power plants, occupational safety, analytics, management, and business development. In addition, participants attend leadership sessions delivered by Women Leaders for Ukraine and receive career consultations from leading female specialists at Scatec. Participants gain not only knowledge, but also support, mentorship, and assistance in overcoming barriers women often face when changing careers,”, — commented Anastasiia Kurovska, co-founder of the Power Women project.

It is worth noting that 20 women participated in the project in 2025, and the organizers plan to involve the same number of participants in 2026.
