Five new solar plants begin generating green energy in Q2-2019
In Q2-2019, Elementum Energy brought five solar power plants online with total capacity of 85 MW. The plants are located in the Kherson, Kirovohrad and Mykolaiv regions.
The 35 MW Kherson solar plant is the second largest and the southernmost solar plant in Elementum’s portfolio. With the addition of Kherson and four smaller plants, Elementum’s full capacity in operation increased to 166 MW. The new plants are expected to generate nearly 110,000 MWh of clean energy per year with the annual carbon dioxide emissions reduction of approximately 80,000 tons.
