Elementum Energy forges ahead with its first wind park
Following the acquisition of a 90% stake in the 100 MW Dnistrovsky Wind Power Plant project in the beginning of 2020, Elementum has made a final investment decision to proceed with the construction of the first 40 MW phase of the wind farm.
This landmark investment signals Elementum’s continued strong interest in renewable energy projects as well as its strategy to leverage its success in solar energy by adding wind energy technology to its portfolio. Elementum and its minority American development partner, Ukraine Power Resources, are pursuing an innovative, multi-contractor strategy for the realisation of the project. We have concluded separate contracts for each individual project component with the leading companies in the sector including General Electric, Altis and KNESS.
