Elementum’s first Ukrainian power plants reach commercial operations dates

Elementum achieved commercial operations dates for its first two solar power plants with total capacity of 81 MW.

The Kamyanets SPP with a capacity of 64 MW is the third largest solar plant in Ukraine at this time. It is located close to the historic town of Kamyanets-Podilskiy and is built on land unsuitable for farming due to its previous use as a run-off area for sewage treatment. Together with the second plant, the 17 MW Taborivka-1 located in Mykolaiv region, these plants will generate over 88,000 MWh of clean electricity per annum and provide annual savings of 65,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
